ScanPro (“the App”) is developed by Vexonix Labs (“we”, “our”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

We do NOT collect, store, or transmit your documents, photos, or scanned content. All document processing happens entirely on your device.

We may collect the following non-personal data:

  • Analytics Data: App usage patterns, feature usage frequency, and crash reports via Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. This data is anonymized and cannot identify you personally.
  • Advertising Data: Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • Purchase Data: In-app purchase transactions are handled entirely by Google Play. We do not store payment information.

2. Camera & Storage Access

The App requires:

  • Camera Permission: To scan documents using your device camera. Camera data is processed locally and never uploaded.
  • Storage Access: To save scanned documents and PDFs to your device. Files remain on your device only.

Analytics and crash data is retained by Firebase for up to 14 months. We do not maintain separate databases of user information.

5. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Data Security

All document processing occurs on-device. No documents are transmitted over the internet. We implement industry-standard security practices for any data collected through third-party services.

7. Your Rights

You can:

  • Opt out of personalized advertising in your device’s Google settings
  • Delete app data by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app
  • Request data deletion by contacting us

8. Advertising

The App displays ads through Google AdMob. Premium subscribers enjoy an ad-free experience. AdMob may use cookies and device identifiers for ad personalization. You can opt out of personalized ads in your Android device settings under Google → Ads.

9. In-App Purchases

The App offers subscription plans (monthly, quarterly, yearly) and a one-time lifetime purchase. All transactions are processed through Google Play Billing. We do not have access to your payment information.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected with an updated effective date at the top of this page.
